We’re delighted to present the Final Report (2016-2020) for the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Cardiovascular Outcomes Improvement
CRE-COI was a collaborative project by nine Australian universities, hospitals and institutes. Our sincere appreciation to all those who contributed to its success by driving our research initiatives to improve health outcomes for people with or at risk of cardiovascular disease.
We have built capacity with:
Seven PhD Students
Two Bridging Fellowships
One ECR Placement Program
Ten Seed Grants
Two Translational Grants
Two Leveraged Grants
We collaborated with 33 investigators in 23 institutions, and produced over 70 publications.
We have ongoing activities with ANZACT, the only cardiovascular clinical trial network in Australia; ASPECT, the Asia Pacific Evaluation of Cardiovascular Therapies, a collaboration in cardiac registries by six countries, and our Consumer Council, established for the Health Research and Data Analytics Hub at Curtin University in liaison with the Consumer and Community Involvement Program.
