Have a Go Day – 15th November 2023

At this year’s event the CCRE team was joined by other researchers from the faculty.

  • The Curtin CCRE team were there promoting the CAC- Women Trial which is a clinical trial aiming to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease in women with female specific risk factors.
  • The SoPH team were talking about their ‘chat2 study’ about improving diet quality of people living with obesity.
  • The CHIRI team were promoting the PIA study – Probucol in Alzheimer’s which is testing a potential new treatment for Alzheimer’s disease.

Everyone was kept busy chatting with those passing by, doing blood pressure checks and providing recruitment material for current clinical trials.

Engaging with the other 150 other stall holders also provided plenty of recruitment collaboration opportunities.
