Biostatistician Fellowships were introduced in 2020 to support emerging talent and enhance translational health research projects. The 12-month WAHTN Fellowships are supported by funding from the Australian Government’s Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) as part of the Rapid Applied Research Translation program.

The Fellows are provided with mentorship and supervision by a senior Biostatistician to develop their skills in:

Consulting with clinical researchers

Providing statistical support to WAHTN Partner organisations

Building relationships and future collaborations to progress to being valued members of diverse research teams.
